Caesars senior leadership knows employees represent the organization in their daily work and that great work deserves recognition. Reinforcing outstanding customer service and improving customer satisfaction scores was a fundamental goal of the program. The Total Return program exceeded expectations in year-over-year increases in customer satisfaction, resulting in the highest overall customer satisfaction scores in the company’s history.
Both Caesars Entertainment and Maritz Motivation Solutions understand and prioritize the impact of employee engagement on customer satisfaction. Engaged employees deliver better service. Guests who receive exceptional service and are more satisfied year-over-year are more likely to become loyal. In addition, guests who give top scores for service are two times more likely to recommend Caesars to their friends or family.
The organization also wanted to build and support a culture of appreciation by balancing tangible rewards with frequent, personalized recognition. Since the program’s launch, more than 65,000 employees have been recognized, receiving more than 602,000 rewards. In 2015 alone, more than 1.5 million ecards were issued with an expected 2 million for 2016.
